DAY OF COORDINATION
Schedule an initial meeting 6 months prior to discuss wedding details, vendors, timeline, etc.
Direct communication with couple’s vendors in preparation for the event
Advise clients on etiquette issues and other “sticky situations”
Review floor plan for optimal flow during the wedding
Create a detailed event timeline for vendors and wedding party
Provide Month-Of Checklist to make sure all final touches have been taken care of before the big day
Confirm timing and itinerary with vendors prior to the wedding
Provide at least two coordinators for day of rehearsal and wedding day
Cue wedding party when it is time to walk down the aisle and cue band/DJ for toasts, special dances, and cake cutting during the reception
Provide fully-stocked emergency kit
Oversee set-up at ceremony and reception
Assist wedding party and family with flowers, corsages, boutonnieres
Act as primary point of contact day of the wedding for all vendors
Arrange placement at the ceremony and reception of all small personal items including props used during the ceremony, programs, toasting flutes, cake knife, table numbers, etc.
Distribute final payment and gratuity to vendors as needed
Secure items prior to leaving with either a family member or contact at the reception venue
